Who operates BookTabs

Information used by the service

BookTabs uses account and workspace information, including your email address, profile, role, and workspace settings. A workspace can contain information you or your team enter or import, such as client contacts, notes, tasks, properties, policy records, and files.

Requests to the website and app also include technical information used to serve and secure the service, such as network and browser information. Account, activity, and subscription records support access control, troubleshooting, and billing.

Why this information is used

Information is used to sign you in, display and update your workspace, carry out the actions you request, manage subscriptions, protect access, and respond to support requests.

When you use an enabled AI feature, relevant content is processed by the configured AI provider to perform that request, such as preparing a draft or extracting facts from a note. Review generated content before using it.

Service providers

BookTabs uses Cloudflare to host the site and app, WorkOS for sign-in, and Stripe for BookTabs subscription billing. Payment details are collected through Stripe. BookTabs does not collect or process your clients’ insurance premiums.

Enabled AI features use OpenAI to process the relevant content for the requested task. AI availability can differ by workspace. The information sent depends on the feature and the content needed for that request.

Your workspace and choices

Workspace access is controlled by account and role. Your workspace owner manages team access. If your organization supplied information about you, contact that organization about its use of the information.

For an access, correction, export, or deletion request, contact ryan@booktabs.co. We may need to verify your identity and authority over the relevant workspace before acting.

Retention and deletion

Closing an account deactivates access but does not itself erase the account identity or stored workspace records. Records are retained to support the current recovery process. Leaving a workspace also does not delete that workspace’s records.

Contact ryan@booktabs.co to request deletion or ask about information retained for your account. This notice does not promise immediate erasure, a fixed automatic deletion schedule, or a specific backup-removal period.
